Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation Inc. T/A MAPTO

Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation Inc. T/A MAPTO is an independent local tourism organisation covering the Peel Region of Western Australia.

We are committed to grow tourism within the Shires of Murray, Serpentine/Jarrahdale, Boddington, Waroona and the City of Mandurah, continuing to consolidate these rich and vibrant communities under the banner of the Peel.

Our dedicated team work for the benefit of the whole tourism industry in Peel by:

  • Assisting tourism operators with the development of products to enhance their offering

  • Identifying and developing opportunities within the tourism marketplace that can help improve the visitor experience within the destination, with the clear objective of growing tourism across the region

  • Identifying opportunities for businesses to collaborate

  • Liaising with regional tourism authorities and state bodies on behalf of tourism operators

  • Supporting business owners with their application for licences & permits by endorsing their enterprise (subject to preliminary assessment by MAPTO)

MAPTO is positioning the Peel Region as an accessible and diverse adventure getaway with the brand “Anytime Adventures” in the tourism market.

Helping your organisation succeed online

The Digital Enterprise Program is an Australian Government initiative aimed at positioning Australia as a leading digital economy by 2020. To align with upcoming National Broadband Network (NBN) rollout in the City of Mandurah, Business Foundations Inc has received funding from the federal government to help small businesses and not for profit organisations in the community to get ahead of the game and really seize the competitive advantage that reliable high speed internet will provide. The program consists of a series of free group training sessions as well as one-on-one mentoring.
What you learn in the workshops can be applied immediately in your business, and if you still need a helping hand you have up to 4 hours of one-on-one mentoring to work out the details.
Attendees must have an ABN and be a small business or not for profit organisation in the Mandurah area to register. All workshops and mentoring are provided free of charge, but numbers are limited - so bookings are essential.

What Will We Learn?

Small to Medium Businesses, discover how to:
Improve productivity using technology
Reach wider markets using different online strategies – including social media.
Build your website so your customers can buy from you securely online.
Get ahead of the crowd and really capitalise on the benefit of being located in a National Broadband Network enabled area.
