Emergency Management
Current Emergency Management plans for the City of Mandurah were developed by the Local Emergency Management Committee (LEMC). The plans outline likely threats to the City, which agencies respond to the incidents and support plans, resource requirements necessary for recovery.
Community involvement is vital to Emergency Risk Management. Initiatives have been and will continue to be undertaken by the City of Mandurah as part of the All West Australians Reducing Emergencies (AWARE) program sponsored by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA)
The AWARE program has established new Emergency Management Arrangements for the City that will be effective in reducing the impact of disasters on the community.
The City encourages the support of residents and businesses as it provides an opportunity to increase safety and wellbeing of the community.
