Kids & Education
Mandurah Rangers regularly attend schools, community groups and events explaining their role.
In 2005 the City of Mandurah received a Local Government Best Practice Award for Effective Communication. The award was for the childrens book ‘A Dog Called Dodge’, a story that encourages responsible pet ownership.
The book is still taught and read throughout Mandurah Primary Schools and Playgroups.
Copies of the book are available from Ranger Services, all proceeds of the sale go to K9 Dog Rescue.
