Residents and visitors are encouraged to access the City of Mandurah's diverse range of parks, sporting grounds and facilities. The City provides ample active and passive recreational facilities for the enjoyment of the community. There are grounds, parks and facilities suitable for a variety of uses - sports, weddings, parties, special events - you're sure to find a great location in our beautiful City.
To help make your day more enjoyable, whether its for busking, a sports event, carnival, festival, a charming location to get married or a special event, you are required to gain permission to use the area. Contact our Recreation Assistant - Bookings who will be able to provide you with all the information you need. Recreation Services process bookings for the following:
- Sporting Grounds & Pavilions (including school ovals)
- Stalls, Raffles & Street Appeals
- Special Events - Planning an Event
To make a booking
|To make a booking or an enquiry about the halls and reserves available for hire within the City of Mandurah, information on public open space, or if you wish to apply for a busking permit or conduct a stall, raffle or street appeal, please call Recreation Services on 9550 3601 to ensure the desired venue, date and time is available. Once this has been determined, you are required to complete an Application Form. Please refer to the various forms on this page, depending what activity your booking is for. Your booking will be confirmed with a confirmation letter/tax invoice, which outlines charges, key collection & payment procedures. Busking, stalls, raffles and street appeals do not incur a fee. There is no fee for Public Open Space bookings, except for Yindana Lake which incurs a $20.00 fee.
Please refer to the links on this page for detailed information on the halls, reserves and public open space within the City. The application forms outline booking conditions and procedures and the Schedule of Fees details hire rates. The cost of hiring depends on the type of event you will be holding. Clubs, groups and organisations that are not-for-profit and involved in fundraising events or provide a service that benefits the Mandurah community may apply for a fee reduction for use of the hall or sporting ground and pavilion. Please see the Fee Category Assessment Application on the attached link. This form must be submitted with the Facility/Reserve Hire Application Form.
If you wish to consume alcohol at one of the halls or pavilions, you must apply for a liquor permit. The cost is $30.00 for a casual permit and $100.00 for a seasonal permit. If you wish to sell liquor at your function, please refer to the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor for application requirements. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in public open spaces.
