If you know of a tree within the City of Mandurah which you feel is of outstanding ecological, cultural, aesthetic or historic significance, then you may nominate it for assessment by the Significant Tree Working Group (STWG). If the STWG consider that the tree meets the criteria of the Significant Tree Register it will be referred to Council for their consideration. If the nomination is supported by Council the tree will be formally listed on the Significant Tree Register.
You can download the Significant Tree Register Booklet from the documents tab on the right hand side of this page which details the process of nomination, including the roles and responsibilities after registration. The nomination form is also available to download. Alternatively these are available from the City of Mandurah Administrative Centre, Mandurah Library or the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre. Before lodging a nomination, please check the Significant Tree Register page to see if your tree has already been registered and please also take the time to read the Significant Tree Register Booklet for more information on the Register.
Please note that nominations will only be accepted if they are submitted on the official nomination form. Please include as much relevant information as possible.
