The City of Mandurah is committed to financially supporting local community groups through the Community Assistance Grants Scheme. The Scheme has two streams of funding available.
The City of Mandurah is committed to financially supporting local community groups through the Community Assistance Grants Scheme. Two streams of funding are released through the Community Assistance Grants Scheme each financial year: the Community Association Fund and the Partnership Fund.
The previous funding round July / August closed on 12 August 2013.

Community Association Fund
The Community Association fund has two grants available per round:
(a) One-off grants for community projects or events (Grants up to $1000):
Associations applying for this grant can receive funding for different or new projects.
(b) Co-contribution grants (Grants up to $500):
Associations are required to fund 50 percent of the project’s cash contribution. This grant suits associations that provide the same community event or project every year.
There are two funding rounds for the Community Association Fund each financial year. The next funding round will be held in February / March 2014.
The Partnership Fund aims to assist non-profit community associations to provide increased community access to essential programs and services that are aligned with the City of Mandurah’s strategic objectives. The City of Mandurah aims to create a partnership with these associations and provide funding over a three year period.
The next funding round will be August 2014.

NEW - SmartyGrants
The next funding round we will be using SmartyGrants, an online grants management program.
Organisations will be able to apply online through a link available on this webpage.
We will be offering workshops to demonstrate how to use the new system in February, express your interest by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications will only be accepted through Smarty Grants and only while the funding round is open.
