Can We Help? Community Finder

Community Grants

Community Grants support community groups who create opportunities for Mandurah residents to participate in the community and give them greater access to events and services. There are three funding streams; Community Association Fund, Partnership Fund and Access Participation and Inclusion.

Community Association Fund

This fund aims to encourage community participation and develop the skills of community based organisations. The Fund has two grants available per round:

(a) One-off grants for community projects or events (Grants up to $2000):
(b) Co-contribution grants (Grants up to $500):

There are two funding rounds each year; February and July and each round is open for 6 weeks
The next round opens between 1 February – 11 March 2016.

Partnership Fund

This Fund aims to assist community organisations to provide increased community access to essential programs and services over a three year period. The grant round is open once a year in July. Next grant round is open from 1 July – 12 August 2016.

Access Participation Inclusion

The City of Mandurah and Disability Services Commission invite applications from community groups who create opportunities for Mandurah residents of all ages and abilities to participate in community life. This fund assists with the cost of hosting an event, activity or program that promotes access, participation and inclusion.

Organisations can apply for up to $500 per year. The grant round is open all year. Larger amounts will be considered in consultation with a Community Development Officer.

Applying for a Grant

All applications and reporting need to be made using our online grants system. Go to Mandurah Smartygrants to create an online login and commence your application.
You can commence a grant application once the round is open.

Grant applications will only be accepted online and only while the funding round is open.

Please read the Guidelines for each funding stream carefully prior to applying. This will give you an easy to read guide of where to start and how the process works.

The Grants Help Guide to the right hand side of the page is a handy document.
