National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime is an annual campaign that aims to encourage more young Australians to read and enjoy books.

This year's feature book it The Brother's Quibble by Aaron Blabey.

Join the fun of the story, craft and morning tea.

When: Wednesday 27 May at 11am

Where: Mandurah Library, Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre, The Parents Place and the Dudley Park Parent & Childcare Centre

Travelling Sketchbook Exhibition

The sketchbooks have been created through the Propel Youth Arts WA, 'Grow Your Own Sketchbook'  project for National Youth Week.

 

Young people aged 12-25 received a small sketchbook which they filled with illustrations, collage, artwork, poems, songs and words.

 

When: 10 June - 2 July

Writers in the Library - Barrie McMahon
