The City of Mandurah has implemented a number projects during 2007-2008 that addressed the outcomes and strategies identified in the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.  Some of the highlights are:

• Disability Awareness Training for City staff
• Disability Awareness Training for recreation providers (provided by Dept of Sport and Recreation)
• You’re Welcome Project – improving access to information on accessible businesses and facilities in Mandurah.
• Milgar Reserve ‘Caterpillar Park’ Upgrade
• Improving access to City buildings
