Places and Spaces
Mandurah, the focal point of the Peel Region, is a coastal city characterised by the popular Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary. Bordered by the Indian Ocean to the west, it is dominated by waterways and known for its good fishing, crabbing and great beaches. Mandurah boasts a range of fantastic places and spaces to visit and enjoy time with family and friends.
The City of Mandurah provides quality outdoor spaces and a variety of built facilities to ensure a range of experiences are provided to the community. Whether your interests are art, movies, reading, swimming, canoeing, walking, working out or simply enjoying the natural environment, there is a place for you.
If you enjoy the outdoors make sure you visit the Mandurah Ocean Marina, walk a bush trail, or soak up nature at one of Mandurahs many beaches, parks, reserves or foreshore areas. For gym memberships, swim lessons, sports, and fun activities visit the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre, the Halls Head Community Recreation Centre or Ac-cent. For a more relaxing cultural experience visit the Art Gallery, museum, library or see a show at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
