Volunteering, Studying and Working at the Billy Dower Youth Centre

The Billy Dower Youth Centre provides many opportunities for people to volunteer their time, develop their skills or pursue a career in working with young people.  Each agency recruits, supervises and manages its own staff and volunteers independently.   You need to make sure that you approach the co-located agency that provides the services that are most in line with the type of work you wish to do.  Before you go any further read through the section on Agencies and Service Providers, then contact the agency that you are most interested in.

The City of Mandurah’s services at the Billy Dower Youth Centre revolve mainly around leisure and personal development with a strong emphasis on community development.   If you are interested in becoming involved we would love to here from you.   Currently, we are seeking people with a medium ridged bus license and/or a senior first aid certificates.  You will need to obtain a working with children card which you can apply for through any Post Office and we would need to see your current C.V with the contact details of at least two professional referees.
