Drainage

The City’s Works and Services Directorate provide and maintain all stormwater drainage infrastructure within the City. This includes the construction of opened drains and piped drainage system which transports the water to sumps, bubble-up structures and swales.

The City carries out regular maintenance of clearing blocked drains and improving and replacing old drainage infrastructure.
