House Numbering On Kerbs

Council permits the practice of locating house numbers on the kerbing of the road, in one of the two following methods.

Painted

House numbers can be painted (with reflectorised paint) on the kerbing with blue or green lettering on a white background. The lettering is to be 100mm high on a 300mm x 150mm background and positioned on the kerb as per the diagram below.

Reflective House Numbering System

Council has approved the use of the 'Reflective House Numbering System' as manufactured in compliance with the example shown below.
