  • Baby Rhyme Time each Wednesday
    • Lapsit at 10:00am for babies and crawlers.
      Romper at 10:30am for toddlers on their feet.
      Weekly rhyming circle sessions are held in the Library each Wednesday.  These support parents and carers in being their children's first teachers.  Action rhymes, finger plays, songs and stories build language and pre-literacy skills.  It could be an active session, so wear comfy clothes!  Rhyme Time is aimed at 0-2 year olds, but all children will be made welcome.  Enjoy a cuppa afterwards with other mums and dads.  Sessions are free and no booking required

  • Preschool Storytime each Friday at 10:30am
    • Weekly story telling sessions are held in the library each Friday at 10:30am. This is to introduce toddlers and preschoolers to the joys of reading and storytelling. Each session is followed by colouring or simple craft activities. Sessions are free and no booking required. Children will be made very welcome.

  • School Holiday Activities (As Advertised)
    • Free holiday activities are held during summer and winter school holidays. See notices in the newspapers, school newsletters and in the library for more details.

  • Books On Wheels Service
    • A delivery service is available for Residents who are unable to leave their homes due to ill health, infirmity or disability. Books are delivered once a fortnight. If you wish to find out more about this service please contact the library.

  • Photocopier
    • There is a public photocopier available for public use. You may copy library materials or your own documents within the limits of copyright provisions. Please note we cannot change large notes.

  • Internet Access
    • There are 14 terminals available to the public for free browsing, free emails and free document production using Word and Excel. Use of the terminals is limited to one hour per day and bookings are required.  Printing is charged at 40c per page.

  • Displays
    • The library welcomes displays by schools, playgroups or organisations. Please contact the Library to book a date for your display.

  • Reference Desk
    • Professionally qualified and trained staff are always available to help you find the subject or the title you need or to get you started. Please ask at the Information desk.

      AskNow is an online reference service available weekdays from 7:00am to 5:00pm WST. Qualified reference librarians are awaiting your questions. The service is free.

  • Donations
    • We are always happy to receive donations of books, dvds, videos (not ex rentals) and music cds, and if not suitable for inclusion into the library will be sold to raise funds.
