Grants & Funding
Recreation Services offer a number of grants to local groups to promote and enhance the development of sport and recreation:
- Club Establishment Grant - To provide funds for the purpose of forming a new club with the emphasis being placed on increasing membership and establishing a sound financial base.
- Club Development Grant - To assist with the development of clubs by providing financial support to committee members to attend training and skill development courses and workshops.
- Outstanding Representative Donation - To provide financial support to residents of Mandurah who have obtained State and/or National representative status, in order to assist with the costs of competing at the State/National Championships.
- Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund - To assist groups in providing well designed sporting and recreation facilities. The grant must be at least matched by the applicant's own cash contribution.
- Capital Loans - To provide loans or guarantees to assist sporting association to establish, maintain, improve or adapt recreational facilities.
