HALLS HEAD COUNTRY CROQUET CLUB
The club meets for social play each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning commencing at 8.30am. Other events are held from time to time, as well as “Come and Try Days” for the public to come and have a go at this great game.
Halls Head Club has two Level One coaches who are former members of the State Croquet Team. New players are readily assisted as they learn the game of croquet.
Members enjoy the challenging, social aspect of croquet and some regularly compete in the many competitions held by the WA Croquet Association and member clubs throughout the State.
New members and visitors are always welcome.
Club available for group visits. For a small fee they supply all equipment, training in garden croquet, and morning or afternoon tea.

MANDURAH CROQUET AND RECREATION CLUB

MANDURAH INDOOR SPORTZ
Mandurah Indoor Sportz, part of the Rushton Park sporting complex in Mandurah, has six sports courts of beach volleyball, 2 courts of indoor cricket, netball & indoor soccer. There are also pool tables (competition games held every Tuesday night), dart boards, table tennis tables, outdoor garden area, bbq facilities and a licensed sports bar for members and visitors.
The sports complex is available for functions, corporate bookings and private parties.

Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club Inc.
The Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club, a strategic element of the Mandurah Ocean Marina, is the largest Club of its kind in Australia with over 3,500 members.
The Club gained its initial strength from the amalgamation of both the local fishing and sailing clubs in 2000 - today a steady membership growth is a testament to the ongoing excellent management of the Club’s amenities and activities.
The two sports, fishing and boating, complement each other and encourage a cross fertilisation of skills and strong family involvement.
An outstanding calendar of events both competitive and social, are organized for members and guests by an experienced volunteer committee. This year the annual “Rotto Run” featured a flotilla of vessels manned by all levels of power expertise. The 2004 event was the largest flotilla to travel to Rottnest since World War 2.
One of the most eagerly awaited events of the calendar is the annual Blessing of the Fleet. Tourists who are familiar with this event in their own countries and locals are drawn to this age-old tradition that unites recreational, club and commercial boats together each year in the spirit of fellowship.
Each year in October, the M.O.F.S.C. hosts the Mandurah Boat Show. A boat display with an estimated value of 40 million dollars is supported by activities and displays from over 180 exhibitors, providing plenty for the 25,000 visitors to the Marina to experience and see.
One of the Club’s outstanding success stories is the Youth Maritime Program, run by volunteers in collaboration with TAFE. The program aims to provide young disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to explore employment within the maritime industry.
The Club operates 216 wet pens and a hardstand area for 85 vessels.

The Mandurah Over 55 Cycling Club has a membership of around 150 members. We meet every Tuesday at the Mandurah Yacht Club, Mary Street, Halls Head at 8.30am to ride at 9.00am (7.30am for 8.00am start during summer months). The first 3 rides are free. We have groups riding at all levels and enjoy a ride and a stop for coffee. We also have many social gatherings throughout the year and have lots of fun. Twice a year we have a week away at Albany and Busselton and have great fun riding there too. Away cycling tours to other destinations are also organised during the year.

PEEL DISTRICT CYCLING CLUB (INC)
The Club was formed in the late 1980’s by a group of a dozen like minded people interested in forming a local cycle racing club in the Peel District of Western Australia. Since then the Club has grown to its present size of more than 130 members of which 80 are competitively active. The Club takes its name from the original Peel District which stretched from Pinjarra to Kwinana taking in all of Mandurah and most of Rockingham. Geographically, membership is split roughly one third Rockingham, one third Mandurah/Pinjarra and the remaining third made up of members from the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire, Bunbury and south metropolitan areas.
The Club runs a comprehensive racing program covering at least 45 weeks of the year. The racing program is a mixture of Road Racing, Time Trials and Criterium Racing and includes the running of at least six major open events each year. The club has always been at the leading edge of competitiveness and during the last few years has excelled with the achievements of one of the younger members, Peter Dawson, in becoming a Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, World Record Holder, World Champion and the breaking of the World Record on two occasions.
The Club has an extremely popular social touring group based in the Rockingham area and riding twice weekly for local sightseeing and coffee stops. The group rides Wednesdays and Sundays and is usually well attended.

PEEL POOL ASSOCIATION
The Peel Pool Association is a non profit organisation that has been running for 35 years. Its main aim is to promote the game of pool and its associated cue sports in the Peel Region of Western Australia. We run team competitions throughout most of the year with the main season running throughout the winter months. Currently teams are playing from hotels, taverns, bowling clubs and the Mandurah Indoor Sportz Centre. We also have many other events throughout the year including sending teams to Perth each year for both the Open Country Week and Women’s Country Week events. If you live in the Peel area or surrounding districts and would like to play competitive pool, then please get in touch with one of our Committee Members and they will point you in the right direction.
