The Eastern Foreshore is one of the most popular areas in Mandurah for families to take their children to play on the play equipment, have a barbeque, or sit and relax on the grass admiring the wonderful views Mandurah has on offer. The Eastern Foreshore is within a close vicinity to local cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, the Mandurah Visitors Centre and many retail outlets.

Caterpillar Park is the name of a fenced playground within the Milgar Street Reserve on the corner of Park Road and Milgar Street in central Mandurah.

Dawesville Foreshore, Dawesville

The Dawesville Foreshore runs along Estuary Road in Dawesville from the Dawesville Channel in the north to Parkridge in the south.  The popular Reserve is located opposite Crocos Place and is a hub of activity on most summer weekends.  Locals call the playground "Leprechaun Park" and frequent family BBQ's and gatherings occur under the shaded picnic area.

Yindana Lake, Lakelands

Yindana Lake is located on Yindana Boulevard in Lakelands.  The setting is perfect for special events and sometimes two or three wedding ceremonies are held on the one day over the warmer months.  Pathways surround the lake and a large central tree overlooks the lake that is accessed via a wooden bridge.

  • Water Feature

 

 

To make a booking for a wedding you must contact Recreation Services.  Bookings do not give you exclusive use as it is a public park and the public can still wander through but they are essential to avoid clashes with other weddings.

Henry Sutton Grove, Halls Head

Henry Sutton Grove is a large park on the Western Foreshore in Halls Head.  To access the park drive along Mary Street and turn into Leighton Road East.  The park is located at the end on the corner of Carter Street.  It has plenty of parking for large events and the views of the Mandurah Estuary are spectacular.

  • Shade/natural settings
  • Fishing
  • Recreation areas

Len Howard Conservation Park, Erskine

Len Howard Conservation Park is located on Dampier Avenue and Glendart Court in Erskine.  It is named after Len Howard due to his outstanding work over many years in raising public awareness and campaigning to protect the Peel-Harvey-Yalgorup estuarine and lake system. Len passed away in April 1998
