The City of Mandurah's Building Services section focuses on the assessment and approval of:

• Building Licence applications
• Demolition Licence applications
• Strata Title applications
• Directional Sign applications
• Park Home and Annexe applications
• R-Code Variation applications
• Non-approved Building applications

The Building Services section also undertakes other related functions such as building inspections and controlling building activities within the City.
