Living Smart is a service that is being offered to 10,000 households throughout the City of Mandurah.  By taking part in Living Smart households can get free information on how to reduce greenhouse gas and save money on household bills.  The advice covers energy and water use in the home, waste reduction and alternatives to car use.  The service will run for one year from April 2008 and includes access to community workshops and free Home Energy and Water Consultations to identify the best savings for each household.  The 10,000 households that have been selected will be contacted by letter and telephone between 16 April and 23 June 2008.  The project will start by contacting households in Dawesville and work north to Madora Bay and Lakelands.

Residents who wish to join the program, but have not been contacted by 23 June 2008 can register to join the program by calling the Living Smart team on 9431 1864.
