1. Planning, Community Development and Sustainability Committee
The Planning, Community Development and Sustainability Committee normally meet at 5.30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers, Civic Buildings at 83 Mandurah Terrace.

The Governance and Infrastructure Committee normally meet at 5.30 pm on the third Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers, Civic Buildings at 83 Mandurah Terrace.

It is important to emphasise that as Committee's do not have delegated powers to make decisions on behalf of the Council, all the recommendations from Committees are placed before the monthly meeting of full Council for formal debate. Council may accept these recommendations, change them or refer them back to the appropriate committee or a briefing for further consideration. Therefore, decisions made at committee meetings cannot be implemented until they have been given approval by full Council, and members of the public should not rely on any decisions made at a committee meeting, until Council has formally considered the recommendations that have been mad.
3. Council Meetings
Ordinary meetings of Council are normally held at 5.30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers, Civic Buildings at 83 Mandurah Terrace.
At the Council meetings, the 13 Elected Members sit as one body which is the policy and decision-making body for the City. The Chief Executive Officer manages the City with an executive management team made up of four divisional Directors and a Corporate Lawyer. The management team attends Council meetings to assist the Mayor and Councillors with information and advice as needed.
