Want to Make a Public Statement at a Council meeting?
Any person or group wishing to make a 2-minute Statement to a Council meeting regarding a matter not listed on the agenda for consideration must complete an application form. An application form can be accessed by clicking here. A guidance note is contained with the application form to assist you with its completion.
Once completed, your application form must be returned to the Chief Executive Officer by 12 noon the day before the meeting. In the event of the day before the meeting being a Public Holiday, please ensure that your form is returned by 12 noon on the day of the meeting.
Once the deadline for the receipt of applications has elapsed, the Chief Executive Officer will refer all applications to the Mayor.
