CITY OF MANDURAH EXTENDS DOG STERILISATION PROGRAM

09-05-2008
The City of Mandurah’s Ranger Services is marking its 10th year supporting the sterilisation of dogs by extending the City’s sterilisation program from Pension and Health Benefit card holders to all registered dog owners.

City of Mandurah CEO Mark Newman says the sterilisation program is a wonderful initiative.

“It limits the number of dogs abandoned or dumped each year in Mandurah by reducing unwanted canine pregnancies,” Mr Newman said.

A discount voucher of $40 for one registered dog per household is available from the City’s Ranger Services at 5 Pinjarra Road, Mandurah, between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Coastal, Halls Head and Greenfields Veterinary Clinics sponsor the sterilisation program in a long-standing partnership with the City of Mandurah.
