OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENS TO TRY NEW ACTIVITIES FOR FREE
City of Mandurah Mayor Paddi Creevey said the Autumn Expression Sessions were all about expressing yourself.
“For teenagers who are getting bored of the same old sport and looking for something different, this is a great opportunity to try out a few other activities. Best of all, it’s totally free,” Mayor Creevey said.
Activities kick off from 11.00am at Hall Park on the western foreshore and will feature circus workshops and performances, kayaking, hip hop workshops and demonstrations, karate classes, drumming workshop and demo, BMX demos from local riders, amusements, rides and much more.
At 2.15pm, local band “Thirigyn” will rock out the day’s sessions.
A registration form with a permission clip attached can be picked up from the Billy Dower Youth Centre at 41 Dower Street, the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre at the corner of Flavia and Cobblers Road, or from the Hall Park venue on the day.
