LOCAL RISING FOOTY STARS TAKE ON BUNBURY AT LITTLE NIPPERS
With support from Street Youth Outreach Service, the City of Mandurah the Department for Sport and Recreation and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Bilyidar Alternative Education program at Billy Dower Youth Centre has been encouraging young players to train together at the youth centre in the lead-up to the big game.
Training has been taking place over the past month between 4.00pm and 5.00pm on Friday afternoons at the Billy Dower Youth Centre.
The Bilyidar program will also be hosting multicultural workshops at Little Nipper’s Children’s Festival, including:
- The Rhythms of Polynesia – the Sounds of the Cook Islands
- Capoeira Muzenza Group – Brazil Espectacular Group
- Spirit of Africa – percussion and rhythms dancing
- The Spirit of Bali Dance Group
