The diverse waterways of the Peel Region make it the perfect setting for all forms of canoeing. There are several clubs within the region promoting canoeing activities. These include:
  • Canoe Trail Friends of Mandurah and Pinjarra
  • Mandurah Paddling Club
  • Over 55's Canoe Club
  • WA Sea Kayak Club
  • Mandurah Murray Vietnam Veterans Canoe Group

All of the above clubs contact details are listed on the Community Finder.

 

The City of Mandurah has been working with the Peel Trails Group, the Department of Sport and Recreation, the Department of Environment and Conservation and Canoeing Western Australia to develop some canoe guides for the Serpentine and Murray Rivers. These guides will be available for purchase through local bookstores.
