Business in Mandurah

The City of Mandurah is the fastest growing regional area in Australia and as such, it is important to take a proactive approach to business attraction and retention.

The City prides itself on working closely with the local business community in order to enhance the city centre and to support small and medium enterprise. The City also works closely with the Peel Chamber of Commerce, Peel Small Business Centre and the Peel Development Commission to deliver more sustainable growth in the long term via strong economic development strategy, including projects such as the revitalisation of the city centre and providing the infrastructure and support for a vibrant, thriving city which attracts both visitors and local residents.  

Mandurah Retail Action Plan

In 2010, the City of Mandurah engaged the services of Premier Retail Marketing to compile the Mandurah Retail Action Plan.

This plan, in conjunction with the City of Mandurah's Strategic Plan 2009-2012, exhibits the City's strong committment in working to enhance the City Centre by assisting to bring business into the area, improving conditions for current retail businesses as well as shaping the future of the CBD and the retail mix needed to deliver vibrancy to the area and our residents.
