Wastewater Management (septics & greywater)

The City's Environmental Health Services section work to ensure onsite wastewater systems do not pose environmental or public health threats. To achieve this we attempt to ensure that all on-site effluent disposal systems are installed, operated and maintained in accordance with legislative requirements to prevent transmission of disease and to produce the best possible environmental outcomes particularly with respect to our waterways.

System installations are only permitted with the approval of the City of Mandurah and the Health Department of Western Australia. Complete the application to construct or install an apparatus for the treatment of sewerage and return to the City's Environmental Health team.
