The City of Mandurah has a variety of Council facilities, reserves, parks and beaches that are popular venues to hold wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Beaches, Parks and Gardens
These areas are called "public open space" and are facilities for the City of Mandurah residents and visitors to Mandurah to enjoy for recreation. Many people like to hold their wedding ceremonies in public open space due to the natural and picturesque settings of many of these spaces.
Some popular locations for wedding ceremonies are:
- Yindana Lake, Lakelands
- Henry Sutton Grove, Halls Head
- Stingray Point, Mandjar Bay
- Halls Head Beach (Doddi's Beach)
- Cox Bay in Falcon
These venues are classified as public open space, therefore, it is not possible to have exclusive use of the area. However by booking the venue, this should avoid clashing with another wedding party. Yindana Lake and Stingray Point are the most popular venues for wedding ceremonies and early bookings are recommended. Alcohol is not allowed without written permission and an alcohol permit (maximum one hour allowed).
If you wish to erect a marquee, you are required to contact Recreation Services on 9550 3601. They will advise you of any items such as reticulation that you will need to avoid.
If you wish for the wedding car to access the site this can be arranged via an application process and a key provided. Access can also be given to drop off equipment. Conditions apply.
The use of rice and confetti is not permitted and all rubbish and equipment is to be removed and the site left in a clean and tidy condition.
A popular facility for holding wedding ceremonies and receptions in the City of Mandurah is the Mandurah Yacht Club.
Located on Halls Head Parade, Halls Head, this is an ideal location with a large lawn area in front of the club and beautiful ocean views.
To Make A Booking
Firstly, call Recreation Services on 9550 3601 to ensure the desired venue, date and time are available. All bookings for weddings at a public open space incur a non-refundable $30.00 administration fee. Once availability has been determined, complete the application form and return to:
