Community Assistance Grants

Community Association Fund now open

Open from 15 February – 28 March 2013

Is your community group looking for financial assistance?

The City of Mandurah is committed to financially supporting local community groups through the Community Assistance Grants Scheme. Two streams of funding are released through the Scheme each financial year: the Community Association Fund and the Partnership Fund.

Applications are now open for the Community Association Fund.

The next round will open along with the Partnership Fund in August/September 2013.

Community Association Fund – Round two: 2012/13

Two grants are available, per round, through the Community Association Fund:

(a) One-off grants for community projects or events (Grants up to $1000):
Associations applying for this grant can receive funding for different or new projects.

(b) Co-contribution grants (Grants up to $500):
Associations are required to fund 50% of the project’s cash contribution. This grant suits associations that provide the same community event or project every year.

Please note that grants which align with the City of Mandurah’s strategic objectives and programs will be prioritised. Community Association Fund applications must be received before 4:30pm on Thursday, 28th March 2013. Please contact a Community Development Officer with your project idea before applying on 9550 3846 or cdo@mandurah.wa.gov.au
