Fireworks on foreshore with lights

About the Event

Welcome 2024 with a bang at the City Mandurah's New Year's Eve Fireworks!

Get ready to be dazzled along the foreshore this New Year's Eve as we ring in 2024 with a breathtaking fireworks display. You won't want to miss this year's double celebration with displays at 9pm and the grand finale at midnight.

But that's not all! Along the Eastern Foreshore, we'll also have fun carnival rides for everyone to enjoy.

Bring your picnic rugs and comfy deck chairs or find a perfect spot along the water to make lasting memories with your family and friends.

See the fireworks in all their glory from some of the best viewing spots around town including:

  • Eastern Foreshore
  • Stingray point (under the magnificent fig tree)
  • Henry Sutton Grove
  • Mandurah Bridge pedestrian walkway

Please note:

  • This is a smoke, alcohol and pet free event, please leave your furry friend at home (service dogs accepted)
  • Road and water closures will apply
  • Noise complaints should be directed to 9550 3840

Accessibility:

We're proud to be WA's Most Accessible Community for the second time and we're dedicated to ensuring everyone has the best experience at all City of Mandurah delivered events.

Spend more time enjoying the City of Mandurah's New Year's Eve Fireworks with accessible facilities designed for everyone. A social story has been provided to assist people planning on attending the NYE fireworks. Additionally, a communication board has been made available to enhance communication for all attendees.

There is a Changing Places facility located next to the Mandurah Visitor Centre. This provides a secure, clean facility for people with disability who need space and assistance when using the toilet while out and about. Changing Places feature a ceiling hoist, an adult-size change table, and room for two support people. A Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) is required to open this facility.

Standard accessible toilets will also be available at the event, along with additional temporary ACROD parking located at the Visitors Centre car park off Mandurah Terrace.

A social story™ uses storytelling to help people, especially those feeling nervous about new places or events, understand and navigate unfamiliar experiences more comfortably.

A communication board is a simple tool with symbols and words, helping people who have difficulty speaking express themselves by pointing to or selecting the relevant options.

This Christmas in Mandurah, we’ve got a jam-packed calendar of events, activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Join in the fun this festive season.
