Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Mandurah with one of WA’s biggest New Year’s Eve fireworks displays.
Join family and friends in the City Centre and enjoy a heap of activities and free entertainment including a live DJ and disco lights along the Eastern Foreshore, there will also be food vendors and alfresco dining.
City of Mandurah Deputy Mayor Caroline Knight said each year around 25,000 people enjoy the City’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.
“It’s wonderful when our community comes together and what better way to bring in the New Year than to head down to our beautiful Eastern Foreshore to celebrate the start of 2019.
“As usual, there will be 2 firework displays, the first at 9pm for families, followed by another grand display at midnight.
“On behalf of all Elected Members and the City of Mandurah, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and fun filled 2019,” Ms Knight said.
There will be a free shuttle bus service every 20 mins from the Mandurah Visitors Centre to the Mandurah Transit Station from 6pm to 1am, a wheelchair accessible bus will also run every 40 mins during this time.
The City’s New Year’s Eve celebration is an alcohol and smoke free event. Please leave your pets at home.
Road closures will be in effect along Mandurah Terrace from 5pm to 1am and water closures between 8.30pm and 9.30pm and 11.30pm and 12.30am. For more information visit www.christmasinmandurah.com.au.
