The City of Mandurah’s MyPark Grooves events will kick off this Sunday, November 3 at Tickner Reserve in Mandurah.
The series of free community events encourages people to reconnect with their neighbours and local parks by sharing an afternoon of family friendly activities and entertainment.
The community is invited to celebrate the outdoors at the four MyPark Grooves events at local parks and reserves during November, including:
November 3 - Tickner Reserve, Central Mandurah, 3 – 5.30pm
November 10 - Eros Reserve, San Remo, 3 – 5.30pm
November 17 - Jerramungup Green, Dawesville, 3 – 5.30pm
November 24 - Osprey Waters, Erskine, 3 – 5.30pm
Each event includes free activities, live music and displays from various local organisations including a fire truck, Peel Thunder Football Club, Anglicare – Parenting Connections, Falcon Lions Club, Bust a Burpee and Mandurah Environment and Heritage Group.
People are welcome to bring a picnic or enjoy the sausage sizzle and coffee van while enjoying a relaxing afternoon.
This is a City of Mandurah alcohol and smoke free event, and will be accessible to all with an accessible toilet at each event.
The events encourage nearby residents to take ownership of their parks by keeping an eye out for theft, graffiti or vandalism and reporting to police and authorities.
