Get ready for Term 1, 2017

Everything you need to know about swimming lessons this term.

What to do when attending your swimming lessons

Be sure to register your child at reception before your lesson each week
Our friendly staff at reception will also give you your Watch Around Water bands. The bands help our lifeguards to identify which children should be within arms reach of an adult at all times.

Swim Instructor teaching a class

Then, accompany your child to the Instructor Muster Area
This is where your instructor will start the lesson, and where you will collect your child from when the lesson is over.

A parent or guardian must be in attendance at all times
If a child's parent or guardian cannot be found, that child will be removed from the water for their safety, until their guardian can be found.

Please allow the instructor to engage your child's full attention and remain as an observer only
If you have any queries regarding the class, please seek out our friendly deck supervisors or approach the instructor at the end of the lesson.

Children that are not fully toilet trained must wear a Huggies disposable swimming nappy at all times
These are available from reception in case you have forgotten to bring one

If your child is ill with a cold, cough, gastroenteritis or any other common childhood illness, please keep them at home to recover
Let us know that they're unwell, a call to 9550 3600 or send us an email, and we'll let your instructor know that you won't be attending.
