Things to do for youth and young adults in Mandurah

Disc Golf

Disc Golf is a free and fun activity for people of all ages and abilities. Bring your friends and family down to Hall Park on the Western Foreshore and enjoy a round of Disc Golf on the nine basket course. Disc Golf is a great team building activity for the workplace

Mandurah Aquatic Centre

Get fit for all with the MARC is the City's aquatic and recreation centre. Offering swimming, sport, fitness and fun for the youth and young adults.

Walking and cycling

We have so many amazing hiking and walking trails around the Peel region. Hit one of our scenic cycling trails, packed with unforgettable views and opportunities to spot wildlife.

Fishing and crabbing

Mandurah is famous for its blue swimmer crabs. The crabbing season opens on December 1st and runs until August 31st.

Top tips:

Learn and obey the rules of fishing and crabbing in the Peel region.
Always return undersized crabs and berried females (carrying eggs).
You need a licence to crab from a powered boat.
A fishing licence is required for freshwater and boat fishing.

This great space at Falcon Library and Community Centre gives you access to the 3D printer, sewing machines, electronics and programming. Enjoy the space yourself or share your skills with others.

Mandurah Skate Park located at the Western Foreshore in Hall Park. 1 Leighton Place, Halls Head.

Four key zones - advanced competition bowl, intermediate transition flow area, low-level street plaza and half basketball court.

Falcon Skate park and BMX

Located on Flame Street, Falcon. Includes pocket bowl, skate plaza and pre-existing skate park. Includes a BMX track.

Lakelands pump and jump track

Located at 53 Orchardleigh Boulevard, Lakelands. Includes beginner to advanced rider jumps.

Duverney Park skate and BMX

Located on corner of Duverney Crescent and Steerforth Drive, Coodanup. Includes full basketball court and BMX track.

Osprey Waters Youth recreation area

Located on Shoveler Crescent, Erskine.

The Billy Dower Youth Centre is your space to hang out, meet people, learn new skills, or just take a break. Whether you’re doing a barista course, writing a new song, gaming with friends, working on getting your licence, want to share your ideas, or just need a safe and friendly place to be, you’re always welcome.

But we don’t just run programs at the Centre - you’ll also find us out in the community. We run school holiday events and activities at skate parks and other venues across the City, bringing workshops, games, music, and support right to where young people already are.

We offer programs for ages 11 to 25, including creative sessions, skill‑building workshops, youth-led projects, and social hangouts.
