Services and facilities

The all-terrain wheelchair is now available for loan free of charge from the Mandurah Visitors Centre. Book at the Centre or by calling 9550 3999.

Wheelchair features:

  • Has tyres to suit different terrains
  • Allows users to participate in most outdoor activities
  • Weighs just 17kgs
  • Is fully collapsible and transportable in most vehicles
  • Dimensions 140x55x55(cm)
Note: The maximum weight limit for the chair is 130kg.

To improve beach access, beach matting is located at:

Beach matting is installed for use during September until May (dependent on weather and storm surges).

The Liberty Swing is designed for wheelchair users to experience the fun and recreation of swinging. Our two swings are located at the Eastern Foreshore on Mandurah Terrace and at Caterpillar Park on Park Road. To obtain a key go to the Visitor Centre with proof of identity.
The Universal Access Map displays Central Mandurah’s bus routes, ACROD parking and accessible toilets.

A Changing Place is a secure and clean bathroom specifically designed for people who need space and assistance to manage their bathroom needs while in the community and for whom universal access toilets are not suitable.
