Step back millions of years to a time when giant marine reptiles ruled the seas. While dinosaurs roamed the land, enormous ocean predators—some growing to over 20 metres long—hunted beneath the waves.
Discover the incredible world of prehistoric sea monsters through immersive displays, fascinating specimens from the WA Museum collection, and a hands-on touch table featuring fossil impressions and 3D models of ancient marine reptiles.

Young explorers can also join the Great Mythical Sea Monster Hunt, a fun self-guided activity throughout the museum. Complete the hunt for your chance to win a LEGO® Creator 3-in-1 Fierce Shark with Treasure Chest set.

Bring these amazing sea creatures to life with colour!
Pick up a colouring sheet from Mandurah Museum, any Mandurah Library or download one from the City of Mandurah website.
Return your completed masterpiece to the museum or any Mandurah Library by Friday, 16 October 2026 to be in the running for some fantastic prizes.
