July School Holidays sorted with our City-wide Guide

Families looking for ways to keep children entertained, active and inspired these school holidays can now explore the City's July School Holiday Guide, packed with activities, workshops and events taking place across Mandurah.

This comprehensive guide brings together a wide range of free and low-cost opportunities for children and young people of all ages, making it easier than ever for families to plan a fun-filled holiday close to home.

From creative workshops and hands-on crafts to sporting clinics, cultural experiences and youth events, there is something for everyone. Young artists can unleash their imagination through workshops with illustrator Brenton McKenna, create their own spell books, learn basic Auslan, or enjoy a variety of craft activities hosted across Mandurah's libraries.

Children and teens looking to stay active can hit the ice at Skating in Mandurah, test their skills at futsal and netball clinics, join dance and fitness sessions, or roll into the popular Roller Disco. Aquatic enthusiasts can take on the AQUAtron inflatable obstacle course, improve their swimming skills through intensive swim programs, or participate in lifesaving courses and water safety sessions.

The holidays also offer plenty of opportunities for young people aged 11-25 to connect and compete through gaming tournaments, LEGO building challenges and ping pong competitions. They can also come together to celebrate culture and community during a NAIDOC Week celebration.

For those interested in arts, culture and local history, the Drawn to Country exhibition and Children's Heritage Walk provide engaging experiences that encourage learning and exploration.

Many activities are free or available at a low cost, helping ensure local families can access quality holiday experiences regardless of budget. Events will be held across a variety of locations including Mandurah Museum, Libraries, the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) and community venues.

Bookings are essential for many activities and places are limited.
