Local park upgrades: Have your say

You’re invited to help shape the future of several parks and reserves across Mandurah with the Parks Renewal Program 2026/27 now open. The program will see a range of neighbourhood parks upgraded to better meet the needs of the local communities.

This year's program includes improvements planned for Mississippi-Amazon Park and Marungi Park in Greenfields, Linville Reserve in Falcon and Glencoe Reserve in Halls Head.

The Parks Renewal Program focuses on revitalising ageing park infrastructure and creating welcoming, functional spaces that support recreation, accessibility and community connection. Planned improvements across the sites may include upgrades to play equipment, pathways, seating, landscaping, park furniture and other amenities, with each location tailored to the needs of the surrounding community.

Community feedback will play an important role in shaping the final concepts for each park upgrade.

Consultation for Mississippi-Amazon Park is now open and closes on 2 November 2026, with consultation for the remaining parks opening progressively throughout 2026 and early 2027.

Residents are encouraged to explore the proposed improvements for their local park and share their ideas.
