Proposed closure of thoroughfares

The City of Mandurah intends to order that all vehicles be prohibited at all times from using the section of Stock Road, Lakelands, between Kelston Approach and Lilydale Drive commencing on 14 September 2026 for an indefinite period. 

The purpose of the closure is to restrict public vehicular access following a request to surrender a third-party infrastructure easement over the site footprint. The underlying road reserve will remain intact to accommodate major operational works associated with Western Power infrastructure, with the City’s operations strictly limited to bushfire management and fire compliance maintenance.

A plan showing the details of the City’s intentions is available for inspection at the City of Mandurah Works and Services Office, 63 Ormsby Terrace, Mandurah, during regular office hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday to Friday.
