Proposed review of local law
In accordance with section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Mandurah has resolved to review the following remaining operative parts of the Consolidated Local Laws 1998:
- Part I - Revocation and Citation and Application of Local Laws
- Part II - General Interpretation
- Part VIII - Blasting, Quarrying and Excavations
- Part IX - Buildings
- Part XX - Enforcement
- Part XXI - Objections and Appeals and Miscellaneous
The purpose of the review is to determine whether any or all of these parts should be repealed, amended or remain unchanged.
Copies of the Consolidated Local Laws 1998 may be inspected or obtained from the City’s Administration Centre, 3 Peel Street, Mandurah, between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Copies may also be viewed at any City of Mandurah library during normal operating hours or on the City of Mandurah website at www.mandurah.wa.gov.au.
Submissions about the local law may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Mandurah, PO Box 210, Mandurah WA 6210, emailed to [email protected] or submitted online at www.mandurahmatters.com.au.
The closing date for submissions is 12 November 2026.
