National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. Science Week aims to encourage an interest in science pursuits among the community and to encourage younger people to be fascinated by the world we live in.
These fun science-based sessions will feature hands on science experiments with everyday household items.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
· Watching out for chemical reactions
· Creating weather in a jar
· Secret Messages
· Bubbles
These and other experiments will astound and delight young and old.
Science experiments can be a little messy. Wear appropriate clothing or bring an old shirt to use as a lab coat.
Suitable for ages 4 –12.
While our activities are aimed at 4 – 12 years, younger children may require adult help.
Spaces are limited. Bookings essential.
