Suncatchers

Keep the kids entertained these school holidays with a huge line up of FREE activities at our Libraries! Check out our great range of fun and creative activities as part of our school holiday program!

Make a pretty suncatcher to hang in your window and watch the coloured lights dance across the room.

Choose your template and cut out on black cardboard. Place the template on a piece of clear contact and arrange different pieces of coloured cellophane until the template outline is covered in pretty colours. Cover your design with another piece of contact to seal in the cellophane and cut around the edge of the template.

Decorate with some gems and add a piece of string to hang up your suncatcher with and find a nice sunny place to hang up and watch the colours dance!
