The Creative Symposium is the City of Mandurah’s annual professional development and sector-led initiative supporting the growth, sustainability and leadership of the local creative community.
Evolving from its original single-day format, the Creative Symposium Series is now delivered as up to three relaxed, after-hours evening sessions. Developed in partnership with state and national peak bodies, the series brings artists, creative practitioners and industry together for meaningful conversation, critical exchange and connection.
Each year, the program will explore multiple artforms and creative disciplines, responding to current sector needs and emerging challenges. Sessions are discussion-based rather than instructional, featuring facilitated panels, roundtables and artist-led presentations that encourage peer learning and collaboration.
Hosted in welcoming venues across Mandurah, the Creative Symposium Series offers a space to share ideas, strengthen relationships and celebrate the diversity and innovation of Mandurah’s creative sector.
