About the Event

Join us as we come together with local environment groups, businesses and community members across Mandurah and the Peel Region to celebrate our environment this National Tree Day.

Celebrate National Tree Day with us at Janis Street Reserve on 28 July. This year, we're excited to partner with Planet Ark to bring you a day full of community spirit, environmental activities, and family fun. There will be a major seedling giveaway sponsored by Men of the Trees, so plant a seedling on the day and take some home for your garden!

National Tree Day is a great chance to get your hands in the soil and learn tips for good planting, learn about the wonder of our native plants and planting at home, help build a city that is beautiful, stays cool and healthy, and supports our wildlife and connect with groups and initiatives to care for the environment all year round.

  • A free BBQ
  • Kid's environmental activities
  • Informative stalls about local wildlife, including ringtail possums and Carnaby's cockatoos
