About the Event
Join us on Australia Day, Friday 26 January as we welcome over 60 new citizens from 14 different countries and honour our Citizen of the Year award winners.
Enjoy a wonderful morning filled with joy and community spirit, featuring traditional dancers and the Mandurah Concert Band.
After the ceremony you are encouraged to bring along a picnic or stop off at one of the many delicious local restaurants, bars or cafes for a bite to eat.
It will be a great day out with family and friends.
The ceremony will start at 8am at the marquee on the Eastern Foreshore (near Kwillena Gabi Pool).
Mandurah’s Australia Day event is assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
Accessibility:
Auslan interpreter for the Citizenship Ceremony and Citizen of the Year Awards, flat access into the marquee, ACROD parking available along Mandurah Terrace and in the parking area near Tods cafe, wheelchair accessible toilet and a Changing Places facility located next to the Mandurah Visitors Centre (loan key available from the Visitors Centre).
