The Making Botanical Flags workshops are presented as part of the Mandurah Arts Festival 2021. Immerse yourself in all things arts and culture - 29 - 31 October & 5 - 7 November 2021.

About the Event

Explore the process of botanical printing, and help create a series of decorative flags for the Koolbardi Bidi Garden. Artists Annette Nykiel and Helen Coleman will guide participants through the process of mark making and botanical printing, using local plants from the garden and surrounding areas to decorate the flags.

Numbers limited - bookings essential. Participants can book to attend one or both sessions.

Cost: $5 per person, per each session.

What to bring: Please bring along a hat and a water bottle.

We Must Get Together Some Time Exhibition

Helen Coleman and Annette Nykiel will be exhibiting a selection of artworks at CASM, as part of an eleven-member, multi-disciplinary artist collective, ‘We Must Get Together Some Time’.

The artist collective will exhibit a major body of new works in a self-titled, multi-venue exhibition, as part of the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial (IOTA21) – an international series of exhibitions, showcasing works by over 200 artists across Western Australia from September to November 2021. 

Exhibition Dates: 17 October - 14 November 2021

Opening Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 10am to 4pm
