About the Event

Do you have young kids and looking for an educational way to keep them entertained? Come join us at the library for a puppet show with Constable Care! Lots of fun for the whole family and a great way to help teach your kids all about calling emergency services!

Who do you call when you need help? There are many people in our community who can help, but sometimes there are too many numbers to choose from. Join Constable Care as he teaches Zac the right numbers to call when he is in emergency situations.

Making the Right Call teaches children how to identify an emergency, the correct phone numbers to use in a range of situations, and how they can play an active role in keeping their friends, family, and community safe.

Kids will learn key concepts such as:

  • Identifying an emergency
  • Important phone numbers for Police, Crime Stoppers, and Emergency 000
  • Community crime prevention
  • Reporting a crime
  • Making an anonymous report
