About the Event

Join us for an enchanting adult storytelling event presented by the Storytelling Guild of Australia (W.A.) Inc

Step into the magic of the spoken word at this special adult storytelling event, where timeless tales and heartfelt narratives come alive. This event will feature six talented storytellers who will guide you on a captivating journey through a vibrant mix of folktales, personal experiences, and historical accounts.

These stories are more than just words—they are bridges to deeper understanding. Themes of connection, problem-solving, reconciliation, cultural exchange, insight, and friendship invite you to see the world—and the people in it—through new eyes. With each tale, you’ll be drawn into different perspectives, discovering how storytelling can transform the way we relate to others and to ourselves.

The power of storytelling lies not only in the telling but in the listening. Research shows that engaging with stories supports mental wellbeing by sparking the imagination, improving focus and listening skills, and nurturing empathy. It’s also a vital way of preserving memory, sharing culture, and passing down language across generations. Stories are, and always have been, the heartbeat of human experience.
