Falls pose a serious threat to older adults, causing health problems and loss of independence. Did you know that every 17 minutes in WA, someone is hospitalized due to a fall? Surprisingly, inexpensive and easily completed activities can greatly reduce falls and boost your confidence. It's never too late to take action and reduce your risk. Join us and Professor Anne Marie Hill (UWA) on 18 July to learn practical strategies for fall prevention. Reclaim your independence and enjoy daily activities with confidence.
Professor Anne-Marie Hill (UWA) is Senior Principal Research Fellow at the School of Allied Health and WA Centre for Health & Ageing. Anne-Marie is a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and has over 30 year’s clinical experience working with older people to improve their health and well-being.
