Nominations are closing soon for community members to become part of one of the City of Mandurah Council’s Advisory Groups.
Advisory Groups aim to improve the communication between Council and local community groups, as well as providing specialist advice and support in various areas of interest.
If you have a special interest in a particular area of the city, you can now apply to become a member of one of the following Advisory Groups:
- Mandurah Roadwise Advisory Group
- Mandurah Environmental Advisory Group
- Access and Inclusion Advisory Group
- Mandurah Community Museum Advisory Group
- Mandurah Coastcare Co-ordinating Advisory Group
- Audit and Risk Committee
Selection criteria may need to be addressed for some of these Advisory Groups. Community members from particular sectors of the community or who possess special skills/experience are being sought, and are encouraged to nominate.
The terms of office are approximately two years, expiring at the next Ordinary Local Government Election.

Nominations close at 4.00pm on Wednesday, October 4.
The City of Mandurah Ordinary Election will be held on Saturday, October 21.
