The City of Mandurah will recognise some of Mandurah’s brightest minds at a special civic reception tonight at the Sebel Hotel.
Local high school students who have achieved outstanding Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) scores will be presented with awards by Mayor Rhys Williams and Elected Members, recognising their hard work and success.
Mayor Williams acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the local students and is excited to celebrate their results.
“We’re extremely proud that we have such talented young people in our region and it is important that we celebrate their hard work and achievements,” he said.
“Mandurah is renowned for our leaders and these young people are the leaders of tomorrow.”
The awards will be presented to students who have achieved scores of 90 or more for an ATAR subject in 2017.
